- 1 envelope instant yeast (/packet, 9 grams)
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom (optional)
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil (+some extra to oil your hands)
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup almond milk (or warm, not hot! water, you can use regular milk if not vegan)
- 1 1/4 tsp. fine salt (I use ¾)
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds (for topping, optional)
