- 5 oz. spring mix (or more baby, or other lettuce of choice)
- 4 cups mixed berries (choice, I used strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
- 1 avocados (–2 ripe, peeled, pitted, and sliced or chopped)
- candied almonds (maple, recipe below)
- dressing (poppyseed, recipe below)
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 4 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 pinch salt
- 2/3 cup avocado oil (light olive oil, or other neutral tasting oil)
- 3 Tbsp. honey (sugar, or other sweetener of choice, use more or less to taste)
- 1/3 cup white vinegar (fresh, wine vinegar or lemon juice)
- 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
- 1 shallot (small, peeled and minced)
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 3 tsp. mayonnaise (for a creamier dressing, optional)
- 1 pinch salt
