- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten free baking mix, we used the gluten free mix)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract (or vanilla bean paste)
- 6 Tbsp. butter (melted, for drizzling on top of the crumble)

Very good and absolutely loved by my guests- especially those that are gluten free eaters since I used gluten free flour. I did add the apple you suggested and it came out quite nicely- no extra liquid at the bottom . Thanks!

I wouldn't call this a crumble as the texture is different. I was looking forward to sharing this with family but decided to pass after how the topping turned out. Berries are good though. I used strawberries and blueberries. I didn't have any modifications. I don't think I'd use this recipe again.
