Excellent!! Tender moist. I chopped carrots onions and celery and lined the bottom of the slow cooker . It added another layer of flavor

Great, didn’t use butter, meat very tender & I use English Roast instead of chuck roast

This is the best pot roast ever, hands down. I will even dare to say that it's better than my momma's. Absolutely delicious and tender. I've shared this recipe with several people. I usually cook the day before so all I have to do is warm up the next day. You will not be disappointed.

It is absolutely heavenly with home made mashed potatoes! Too bad you can't eat this every day. I made it following the directions exactly, including not opening the slow cooker.
