Definitely use low-sodium soy sauce as recommended. I didn't and that combined with the miso made it very salty. I would reduce those if I made it again, or add more of the other ingredients. Green peas might be a good addition to this recipe too, to go with the other spring vegetables. Toasting the cashews seemed unnecessary (they burned much sooner than the time recommended to toast).
