It was a great cake to make. I received compliments for how good it was. I siblings stated that it tasted just like the cakes our mother use to make. My brother thought it was one of my mothers old recipes I will continue to make this cake for ocassions that our suitable.

It's easy to make, I made 2 loaf pound cakes with this batter, one lemon one vanilla. It's a basic pound cake recipe. I added a little more vanilla with no almond. The lemon one, I made with a lemon glaze to go on top.

It was a little difficult to mix by hand but it came out great! It tastes delicious! It definitely satisfies a crave for sweets.
