The dough was way too sticky to roll out, but that may be because I halved the recipe (and I know some recipes don’t reduce well). I had to add more flour and probably overworked the dough a bit as a result. They didn’t rise very much and they were a LITTLE dense (most likely due to the extra flour and overworking), BUT the flavor was good and they were excellent with some butter and honey. I’ll try again when I’m cooking for a bigger group, as half the recipe made a dozen (rolled out closer to a half inch instead of the inch suggested).

Good, but I put a milk wash on them, and the bottoms were a pretty color, but the tops never browned. Not sure what I did wrong.

Best biscuit recipe ever! These are buttery and delicious and flake up really well. Will never use another recipe again!

They didn’t rise too high but enough much but tasted good, next time will add a little more salt. Husband liked them and daughter might even try with a little cheese next time. Very easy to make

This will now be my go-to biscuit recipe! It’s the only one I know where you can warm up the leftovers and they don’t crumble...and they are VERY tasty!

I’ve been “attempting” to make biscuits for years. No matter what recipes I tried, they each weighed a ton. I always had to resort to my old standby, Pillsbury. I saw this recipe and thought I’d give it the old college try just one last time. Oh my oh my, Pillsbury can now rest comfortably on the store shelves. This recipe is easy and the biscuits turned out so fluffy and oh so good. Thank you for putting me on the right path.

I didn’t like these biscuits, Just way too much butter in my opinion. It didn’t compliment my gravy. However, they were delicious with jam
