to rate you have to put a star but this recipe was a waiste of $40 or more bucks. not only, this was the worst banana cream pie ever. this person thought higher layers and everything but it was too sweet. first 3 cups of heavy cream, 2 small regurlar boxes of sweetened pudding mixed together makes a toxic sugar dose of sugar. now imagine adding whip cream. it was crazy. if you do decide to make this pie i suggest you add only one pudding box to start off then add another box of pudding to your taste so dont over whip the heavy cream other wise youll make buttermilk. gross but true. itle look and taste like grainy tapioca. terrible. i would also cut half of the heavy cream and add 2 percent milk to the filling. dont add two boxes. one box should be enough. just go to marrie callendars for this pie if your going to buy these ingredients. try classic, from scratch or traditional recipes even box recipes but be mindful to your wallet. watch out for the bad recipes and think about how much is it really going to cost. save your money and go to a professional.
