- 3/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter (chilled, cut into small cubes)
- 3/4 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 meyer lemon
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (cold, plus more for brushing on tops of scones)
- 1/2 cup buttermilk (cold)
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- coarse sugar (for sprinkling)
