  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 pound ground beef (85/15)
  • 10 ounces chorizo (beef)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder (your choice: flakes, ancho chili powder, serrano smoked chili powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked hot)
  • 12 ounces Corona Beer (can substitute apple juice)
  • 30 ounces chopped tomatoes
  • 45 ounces beans (drained, your choice: I used garbanzo, black beans and kidney beans.)
  • 8 ounces V8 Juice (spicy hot)
  • 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 lime (sliced into 8 wedges)

    Made it for the first time and my family loved it. I used low sodium V8 instead of spicey. I used Miller Lite instead of Corona, because that's what we had. The garbanzo beans were a nice addition. It had the right amount of spice. I had jalapenos, red onion, green onion, avacado, sour cream and queso fresco for garnish. Made a Yummly jalapeno cornbread with it too. So good!
