We loved this recipe and make it regularly for a main meal with rice and veggies on the side.

This dish turned out surprisingly well. Very simple and quick with a nice blend of flavor. I will definitely make this again when I am in a pinch for a quick side. I would probably drain the beans next time and sub the volume with broth or even drain a portion of the beans and add back that amount with lime or lemon juice.

Needed a little more spice. I added a little chili powder but loved the onion and garlic. Added feta cheese prior to serving

Simple recipe that packs a lot of flavor. I have made it multiple times and it never disappoints

Very simple and tasty. I sprinkled some shredded cheese on top but left out the cilantro. I think this would also be good as a dip for taco chips.

Simple, straightforward and delicious. Make sure you allow time to sauté the onions and garlic so that they’re soft. I used dried oregano and/or basil, when I don’t have fresh. Make sure you add the cheese, because it adds a creaminess and additional flavor. I used shredded jalapeño jack cheese, which is still good.

I’m not a fan of black beans but this recipe changes that! I added the Mexican cheese on top like the picture shows. It’s not included in the recipe, but it’s what makes it so good!

Very tasty. I did cut the salt a tad, added 1/4 tsp of cayenne, rinsed my beans, and simmered in chicken broth. Nice change to go with my spanish rice and carne asada.

They were amazing just added a little more seasoning along with a vegan meat seasoning, all seasoning salt and smoked hickory

Quick tasty side, my family liked it. My family doesn't like cilantro so i left it out.
