- 2 cups sliced mushrooms (such as button, cremini, shiitake)

- 1/2 cup tomato sauce (or pureed tomatoes)

Fabulous! DH loved it, and he always thinks he doesn't like lamb. I didn't tell him what it was until he tried it and told me it was delicious! 😂
Oh and instead of zucchini, I used butternut squash.
I did braise in the oven. Worked out great, and did not need to add more liquid.
Used a red Zinfandel for the wine, and finished the rest of the bottle with dinner. Was a great pairing!!
