- 1/4 cup Chinese celery (finely chopped, divided + ½ cup coarsely chopped stems, for the stock)

- 1 1/2 garlic
- 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger

- 4 scallions (green tops only)

- 1 cup sugar snap pea (or snow peas, sliced diagonally in half)
- 1 lb. lo mein noodles (fresh thin, or use dried noodles, if you can’t get fresh)
- 1 Tbsp. white miso (See note below.)
- 2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
