- 1 lb. ground meat (I used pork, but you can do beef, chicken, lamb, turkey of veggie substitute)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic paste (ginger, or 1/2 Tbs each separately grated)
- 1 egg
- 1 slice bread (soften with some milk)
- 1 tsp. garam masala (powder)
- salt
- black pepper
- red chili flakes (to taste)
- 5 potatoes (medium sized, peeled and cubed in 1inch pieces)
- 1 onion (medium, chopped)
- 1/2 green bell pepper (chopped)
- 2 red chilies (sweet, sliced, you can substitute more bell pepper for this)
- 2 serrano chilies (sliced, seeded if you desire less heat)
- 15 curry leaves
- 2 pandan leaves
- 1 piece canela
- 1 tsp. fenugreek seeds
- red chili powder (or cayenne to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. ginger (grated)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic (grated)
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 2 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1 tomato (large, diced)
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup milk
