  • ground beef (1 lb., 10% fat or less)

Excellent idea. Thank yo. Made our own meat sauce after we bought some zucchini at the italian market near us. The boyfriend was very happy. 😊👍

We loved this Recipe, however I did make a few changes and additions, I used mild Italian sausage instead of ground beef, I used a combination of Mozzarella and Romano cheese in the stuffing. I then added some leftover cooked rice to give it some body I didn't have the Spike seasoning so I used a few other herbs that I had on hand. I topped the pieces off with Parmesan. The cooking times stated in the recipe worked out perfectly. Thank You

love it but don't know what is spike is that a spice to add. Please forgive me I am a old lady with bad eyes, went to read it over again and it was spices that you add in . So that's why my food did not have a kick to it. But it was still good to me.... Thanks .
