Ingredients

4 SERVINGS
- 2 cups lukewarm water
- 1 Tbsp. instant dry yeast (if using active dry yeast be sure to activate before adding)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 cups flour (or as much as you need to make a soft,non sticky dough)
- 1 lb. ground meat (I used turkey, but will advise to mix in some beef)
- 1/4 cup long grain rice
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
- 1 onion (small, finely chopped or grated)
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. chilli flakes (or cayenne)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. dill (basil, you can also use fresh parsley or cilantro)
- 1/3 tsp. curry powder (feel free to use any of your favorite seasonings)
- salt (to taste)
- 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying the meat patties)
- grapeseed oil (I used)
