- 1/3 cup fresh basil (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. sugar (to offset the tomato acidity)
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 2 cups water (very important so you don't get scorching and the BURN signal)
- 1 cup rice (plus 1 cup water)
