- 1 liter full-fat milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (soft at room temperature)
- 3/4 cup mawa (packed crumbled)
- 1 1/4 cups sugar (castor)
- 3 large eggs
- 6 cardamom pods (powdered,, about 1-1/2 tsp powdered cardamom)
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
- sliced almonds (Blanched, / Cashewnuts to decorate)
- 1 3/4 cups flour (all-purpose, plain)
- 2 Tbsp. brown rice flour (or fine white, optional)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or according to your taste)
- 1/2 cup butter (chilled, cut into small pieces)
- 3 green chillies (deseeded and chopped)
- 3/4 inch ginger (piece of, finely grated)
- 1 1/2 tsp. whole peppercorn (crushed coarsely)
- 1 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds (toasted and crushed coarsely)
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. curry leaves (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro (each finely, mint and dill leaves)
- 4 Tbsp. yogurt (cold)
- oil (A little, to brush the tops of the biscuits/ cookies)
