  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil (or more as needed)
  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk (or whole milk, at room temperature – I actually used 3/4 cup buttermilk and 3/4 cup 1% milk)
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan (at room temperature – I used 3/4 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
