    This cake recipe is PERFECT! After making it for the first time I was asked to make it for almost every single family event since. I live the mascarpone filling and I laid out some sherries berries on top of the cream between the layers of cake. Also instead of berries what works great is a layer of caramel, a layer of thinly sliced bananas and then the layer of cream in between the cake layers. This is now my go-to cake recipe. Trust your gut! Don't over bake, and it will be the fluffiest and tastiest cake you ever bake.
