  • 1 1/4 cups toasted pecans (coarsely chopped, I omitted the nuts)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sugar (confectioners’, I suggest sifting the powdered sugar)
