- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 Tbsp. Asian toasted sesame oil (found in the Asian aisle)
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper
- 10 1/2 lb. ahi tuna steaks (fresh, about 1 1/2-1 2/3 inches thick)
- oil (for cooking)
- freshly chopped cilantro (optional)
- scallions (optional)
- sesame seeds (optional)
- sriracha mayo (Optional:, for drizzling, really good!)

I have used this recipe several times. The flavour is delicious. So easy to make. I marinated it for about 3 to 4 hours and it is perfect. The only change I made was cut the salt in half. I used the specified amount of salt once and I found it a little too salty with the soy sauce that is used. I only had yellow fin tuna and it worked so well. Yum!!
