- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)

- 1/2 cup butter (homemade or store-bought maple, *alternately, you could use a maple sugar/butter filling)
- 1 Tbsp. maple sugar (for topping before baking, or regular white or brown sugar)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (maple, warmed to thin, for drizzle)
- 1 cup maple syrup (preferably No. 2 Medium/Amber grade)
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (cut in to cubes)
