- 1/2 cup brown rice flour
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
- 1 Tbsp. arrowroot powder (*see notes above)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 2 1/2 cups nut milk (I used unsweetened homemade almond milk)
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil (melted, plus extra for the pan, olive oil also works)
- 3/4 cup roasted chestnuts (peeled and roughly chopped)
- 3 apples (small organic, roughly chopped, cortland, empire or lobo work well)
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger (nutmeg + cloves)
- 1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup golden raisins
- water (as needed)
