I used precooked bacon and a premade crust to save time. Added mozzarella to the base of the pizza too. Would definitely make it again!

I would never have believed that apples would be good on pizza! This is a really good recipe if you want a different kind of pizza. I even used a Pillsbury tube pizza crust and it still tasted very gourmet. Heated left overs in a skillet for about 2-3 minutes and finished heating in the oven until cheese was soft again and it was about the best tasting left over pizza we've had. I did take the time to roast my own garlic (2 bulbs). Loved it!
