- 1 stick unsalted butter (melted and cooled to room temperature)

- 12 tsp. lime marmalade (kiwi-, or jam/preserve/marmalade of your choice – recipe follows)
- vanilla sugar (optional)
- 4 tsp. lime juice
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar (sifted)
- 4 kiwis (medium or 5 small)
- 1 limes (large or 2 medium/small)
- 3/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice (fresh squeezed)
