Description

This vegan bread is full of sweet and nutty flavors. Psyllium, a natural fiber, binds the dough together, replacing flour and making this bread absolutely gluten free. Maple syrup and dates add an underlying sweetness and almonds add a subtle crunch to this delicious bread.

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 12 dates (or less)
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • 3 tbsp. Psyllium (natural-organic grocery store or on the internet)
  • 1 cup water

    Directions

    1. Mix together all the seeds and psyllium.
    2. In a bowl, whisk the water, maple syrup and melted coconut oil, then add it to the dry seed mixture.
    3. Pour the batter into a cake pan and insert the dates in the inside.
