- 3 Tbsp. green onion (sliced)
- 2 cups baking potato (diced, cut into 1⁄2-inch cubes)
- 2 cups water
- 2 Tbsp. salt (plus more to taste)
- 2 Tbsp. bacon fat (or your preferred cooking fat)
- 1/4 cup ground black pepper (diced yellow onion, to taste)
