- 1/4 cup water (or lactose-free whole milk, at room temperature, I prefer milk)
- 1 large egg (at room temperature)
- 61 grams carrot (peeled and grated )
- 1 Tbsp. fresh flat leaf parsley (minced)
- 1/2 cup pecorino romano (finely grated, or Parmigiano Reggiano)
- 1 lb. lean ground turkey (or chicken)
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup garlic (Infused Oil made with olive oil or FODY Garlic-Infused Olive Oil, optional, see directions)
- 1 batch chunky tomato sauce (Super Simple, or two jars, 19.4 ounces/550 g each of FODY Pasta Sauce, Marinara or Tomato & Basil)
