    I was skeptical but curious, since I successfully made cloud bread once and this is similar in nature. I substituted flax meal for oat bran as did another commenter. These turned out AMAZINGLY in my Belgian-style waffle iron. Just enough for a full iron (4 squares), and the flax gave it a nutty, grainish flavor that was close enough to flour waffles to really satisfy.

    Absolutely delicious!! I was skeptical at first on trying any recipe from an app but I made these and just loved it!! This is going to be my new morning breakfast.

    Best texture of any low carb pancake recipe I have made! And the egg flavor I get from other LC pancakes was not in these. I used almond flour in place of oat bran. Let your batter sit about 20 mins to thicken up for fluffier pancakes.

    These were amazing!!! In the absence of oat bran in my pantry I substituted ground flax. I used all Simply Natural blueberry applesauce instead of syrup making this a totally satisfying breakfast!!! Yield was 3 pancakes - about 4" each!!!!
