These are a fantastic way to make rutabagas! A nice change of pace from mashing them.

Yes, This IS Keto as long as you dont eat too much. Rutabagas have a similar amount of net carbs per ounce as almonds. Just make sure you dont eat too much because the carbs will quickly add up.

These are definitely NOT low carb. Any keto food guide would advise you to stay away from any underground grow vegetable. Rutabaga is a root vegetable (underground). One medium sized rutabaga has approximately 33g of total carbohydrates and 9g of fiber. That's 24g net carbs. Sooo not keto friendly. If you are strict keto skip this recipe!

They taste so good. They’re juicy on the inside so try and dry them with a paper towel before air frying.
