Subbed pinto beans as one of my kids hates black beans and then complained about it being too bean-heavy, but they still ate it and gave it 3 stars. Rest of the family gave it 4 stars. We skipped the scooping out and mashing the sweet potatoes. With it being (almost) vegan (except for 1/4 c chicken broth), we were surprised how filling this was - I was stuffed after only half of a (very large) sweet potato.
