- 2 Tbsp. virgin olive oil (extra-)
- 2 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups yellow onion (diced)
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1/4 cup fresh oregano (chopped)
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 lb. chicken sausage (chorizo, removed from casings)
- 2 cups seafood stock
- 6 small potatoes (cut into 1/2" cubes)
- 24 clams (scrubbed)

Directions
- In a large pot add the onion, garlic and olive oil. Saute for 2-3 minutes to soften.
- Add the chicken sausage, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it browns; 3-5 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste and smoked paprika and saute, stirring, for 1 minute.
