  • 1 1/2 ounces Roma tomatoes (pounds, chopped or 28 can)
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (or half and half)
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 12 spears asparagus (chopped into thirds)
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 bunch basil (and/or thyme, chopped)

  • parmigiano reggiano cheese (shaved)

    1. While pasta water comes to a boil, sauté garlic and red pepper flakes in butter. Add tomatoes and simmer for ten minutes.
    2. Start cooking linguine.
