    This dish surprisingly had a lot of flavor for not having many spices in it. I used homemade veggie stock instead of water, and I added a little bit of pepper as well. The rice and lentils weren’t quite cooked enough, so I think next time I will add a little more stock and let them cook a little longer.

    I used chicken broth instead of water. Added red bell pepper with the onions and cayenne pepper at the end. Very good flavor

    Very tasty dish I highly recommend this dish. Not many ingredients an not complicated to make. After making it once you may not have to look at the recipe ever again. I added avocado to it just to have something fresh with it.

    It turned out very well especially with how far it goes with being so filling without the fatigue feeling afterwards will add more seasonings next time
