- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (finely)
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp. ancho chile powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce
- salt (to taste)
- 1 avocado (ripe)
- 1 cup soy milk (or almond ,unflavored)
- 3 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- salt (to taste)
- 8 cups lettuce (or your favorite salad greens)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 1/2 cup black olives

This is delicious! And the "meat" can be used for ground round, just adjust the spices to suit your recipe.

Amazing recipe! Husband loved it and added jalapeños to the avocado sauce for a little more spice! I didn’t have bowls for the tortilla bowl so I used bread loaf pans and made giant taco shells instead! Made this several times and is always a hit, with leftovers that freeze nicely!

Really tasty, contrasting and rasy to make. Definitely will try again! Its also a good taco filling to make yourself when you're in a family gathering and they're eating mexican

The filling is an amazing alternative for ground beef taco meat. It's very similar in looks and texture, and the flavors are superb. I've made it several times and it always turns out great.
