Good basic recipe. Easy, and tastes pretty good but a little on the bland and dry side. I added some thyme and garlic powder to the lentils and a bit of paprika on top of the potatoes. Needs something to replace the usual gravy inside shepherds pie. The butter in the potatoes is great, but the filling needs some moisture.
