- 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala (a spice mixture)
- 2 cups red lentils (dried, rinsed)
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/3 cup coconut milk (full fat or light version, plus more for serving)
