So so. Cookies were a little dry ( like a scone), and icing didn’t gel like the picture. Very nice lemon flavor. Maybe if I had a blender with a paddle instead of a hand mixer it might have come out better. Will try again , can’t be perfect first time out.
Update: went out and got a stand mixer with attachments......WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
Icing came out great and flavorful. I flattened them out using the suggested technique. One thing I didn’t have was a cookie scoop, so I used teaspoon instead. Add that item to my list to get.

Pretty good, I recommend using less lemon juice for the icing if you like a thick glaze.
