This seems like it would be a bizarre combination, but it totally works. The first time I made it, I thought, “interesting, but I probably won’t make it again”. Sure enough, I found myself craving that lemon and cheese flavour and made it a second time!! Even if you don’t add the lemons, the Parmesan crust is a MUST!!! I call it my “secret” recipe... thanks Giada! Can’t go back to making grilled cheese without it anymore.
