- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 lb. cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. grated lemon zest
- powdered sugar

Directions
- Beat together butter and cottage cheese. Add flour and beat until well blended. Shape dough into a 6" circle and wrap in floured wax paper. Chill for 1 hour.
- Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and lemon zest. Divide the dough into thirds. Roll each third out on a floured pastry cloth until the circle measures 9". Spread 1/3 filling over each circle of dough and cut each circle into 8 pie shaped wedges. Roll each wedge from the wide end toward the center and curve slightly into a crescent.
- Place croissants on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to rack and cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
