Very pleasantly surprised at how good this is! I also used the cream of mushroom. The lemon adds the zip that makes this dish stand out!

I followed all the suggested changes in the reviews-substituted cream of celery with cream of chicken, less lemon and more seasoning and it came out great, except for one thing…..too much spinach. So cut your spinach in half and it should be perfect!

Awesome!!
Will make again. Added extra zest, salt and pepper to taste. Perfect

Great! I used a little more spinach and a little more chicken stock than it called for.

It was ok, served over spaghetti I think musing canned soup is not my favorite. I would have liked all homemade.

Very good! I will make it again. I did use mushroom soup instead of celery soup.

The baby spinach I thought I had in the fridge had died, and I didn’t have any cream of celery soup, so I went all “Slow Food” on this. Used half the amount of rainbow chard now instead of spinach, sautéed onion, celery and chard stems along with flour and cream to replicate the soup. It was lovely. Will add another clove of garlic next time.

It was really good! I seasoned the chicken with added adobo, oregano, and pepper. I also served it with garlic mashed potatoes. I will make it again for sure:)

This was very tasty— the sauce was a bit too lemony for my taste and the chicken turned out a little bland. I’ll definitely make it again, though. The next time I might go lighter on the lemon and season the chicken before I cook it.

It was delicious! I had to use cream of chicken because I could not find cream of celery. It still tasted good. I’d like to try it with the cream of celery too. I paired it with penne pasta.

i used cream of chicken instead of celery. Also 1/8 lemon juice was a little too much for my taste so i used water to correct the flavor the first time the second time i made it, i just used less lemon juice and paired with a pasta

It was pretty good!! But I made some changes and I was happy. I used cream of MUSHROOM instead and shredded the chicken after cooking. Also seasoned the chicken a little when cooking. I recommend!

It was a little tarty. I might’ve used too much lemon juice. Next time I’d use less. I also used cream of mushroom instead of the celery. Can’t really taste it. I was hoping for more of a white, creamy, Alfredo sauce I guess. I put it on top of rice, which took a bit of the tart taste away.

I should have seasoned the chicken before cooking. The spinach sauce was delicious and made with homemade condensed celery soup.

Ok, this was SO good and simple to make, definitely will be making it again. It was super watery tho and I only used half the amount of spinach required. By the time the first half withered and I hadn't added the chicken yet I could tell that I wasn't going to like the ratio.
For the wateriness I just added some flour as someone suggested in the reviews here. It definitely helped. I also like my food more on the savory side and the lemon was DEFINITELY doing it's job (lol). So for that I just added seasoning salt and a touch of salt and pepper. It came out great!

This dish is delicious! This was my second time making it and my husband and I love it! I also used cream of chicken soup. I also baked the chicken breasts in the oven. My husband needs to cut back on salt. So, I only seasoned the chicken with lemon pepper. While those were baking in the oven, it freed up my stove and pans for the sauce and noodles. I like to make garlic butter parmesan noodles (recipe also on Yummly) to go with the chicken. Omg! It's so good together! We were both stuffed!

I turned out well. I swapped the soup for Cream of Chicken. I also used a little less lemon juice and sprinkled a bit of salt on the chicken. It was good. I would make it again with those changes.
