Pretty good texture. Not enough lemon juice. Recommend adding baking soda. Crispy edges. Yummy. Just needs more lemon.

It didn't grow at all so the consistency isn't cake-ish, but I love the taste. Next time I would add some baking powder and a little less sugar

The cake was very flat and I added 1/2 tsp of baking powder. Taste was ok but I think I may have over whipped.

I was a little hesitant, but the cake turned out really well, eventhough it does not rise a lot. I added baking powder, I think it is necessary...and I added 1 cup of flour instead of 3/4 cup. The kids loved it, so I will make it again tomorrow.

I used baking parchment to make sure it came out of the pan having read another review where it got stuck. Came out great but was a little greasy on the bottom. Tasted delicious and all my guests enjoyed it! Very easy to make! My 11 year made it with step by step instruction from me.

I don’t know what everyone else did, but mine looks like a cracker. There is no rising agent....

Someone made this for me and it was delicious!! I bake a lot and I think I know what it too sweet or too tangy (is that even a thing) and this was just perfect. It was like a lemon bar and a cake had a baby<3 going to be making this for family

Delicious! I live in high altitude (5,561) and the cook time was 25 min. I dont own a standing mixer, so I carefully did everything by hand with wooden spoons and it came out super moist with the perfect amount of lemon flavor. I followed directions to a T and it was a big hit. Will definitely make again!

Good recipe. Added sugar icing which helped cut the sharpness of the lemon.

I always make this cake, perfect for any accation. (If you want to mix it up, for the summer, try adding rasberries)
