    It turned out Amazing!!!! Everyone Loves it it was very moist .
    i ate it fresh out of the oven and after it cooled. tastes better cool in my opinion

    Someone made this for me and it was delicious!! I bake a lot and I think I know what it too sweet or too tangy (is that even a thing) and this was just perfect. It was like a lemon bar and a cake had a baby<3 going to be making this for family

    Delicious! I live in high altitude (5,561) and the cook time was 25 min. I dont own a standing mixer, so I carefully did everything by hand with wooden spoons and it came out super moist with the perfect amount of lemon flavor. I followed directions to a T and it was a big hit. Will definitely make again!

    Good recipe. Added sugar icing which helped cut the sharpness of the lemon.

    Reducing the amount of sugar is the way to go, I've reduced by half and yet a great cake. I've replaced the lemon with lime, the all-purpose flour with spelt flour and the butter for 1/4 cup coconut oil and 1/4 cup sunflower oil.
