- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice (divided)
- 3/4 cup frozen blueberries (or fresh, if using frozen do not thaw first)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick ,at room temperature)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract (optional, but really amps up the lemon flavor)
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk (at room temperature)
- 2 tsp. grated lemon zest (finely)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick ,very soft)
- 8 oz. full fat cream cheese (1 block, very soft)
- 4 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. lemon extract (optional, but really amps up the lemon flavor)
- 1/2 tsp. grated lemon zest (finely)
- 1 tsp. grated lemon zest (freshly, optional)
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries (optional)
