Great recipe. My slow cooker cooks faster than most. I started this at 2:00 pm so it would be ready by 6:30, but it was actually ready by 5:30! Don’t cut your potatoes too small as they break up. I believe browning the lamb leg really well before putting into the slow cooker is important. Once it was cooked I put meat and potatoes into a casserole to rest, covered with foil. Strained the lovely juices from the slow cooker bowl into a saucepan and reduced a little then thickened into a gravy to serve with the meat and potatoes. Yum! Served it with braised baby leeks in cheesy sauce. This recipe is a keeper!!!
