- 1 chopped onion (or 2 tablespoon onion flakes)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 2 cups turkey meat (shredded or chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups short-grain rice
- 1 cup carrots (chopped)
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley (fresh)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low salt, add more if needed)
- 1 inch ginger (sliced, pieces)
- 1/2 can water chestnuts (diced or thin slivers)
- fresh parsley (chopped, or green onions, garnish, optional)
