Wonderful , but actually use around 3cups of veg oil !!!! So impressed but like the recipe calls for gonslow with the oil!

I didn’t follow the go slowly instructions. I made a rather thin garlic lemon drink which I poured down the toilet
So it might be good if you add ingredients slowly. No amount of blending could thicken it
I only used 3 cups of oil cause I wanted it thick
I will just buy it from the store

I did it! I am so proud of my self. I thought I was going to mess it up, but I didn’t. Great directions. It is delicious. It’s light and fluffy. Just like the toum I get from the shawarma place by me. Now I can make my own, because they never give me enough and then they charge extra for more. Love this stuff. I eat it with just about everything. I love garlic. Thank you for the recipe. I love this app. I’m learning how to cook a variety of foods.

Delicious, wonderfully thick (like store bought mayonnaise) and strong AF. The secret to the thickness is following the directions exactly and pour in the oil SLOWLY. It will work - trust the recipe.

Sorry, but this recipe is not good. I tried to make 4 times and followed the directions so carefully. Each time it was ruined. This is just a watery garlic sauce...not thick and creamy.

Soooo good. I absolutely love garlic sauce (especially on shawarma). Tonight I made homemade chicken shawarma plates, and started by making this sauce, it turned out perfectly! Thickened up perfectly and absolutely delicious flavour. Here’s hoping it saves well!

This is an excellent way to use a lot of garlic! I buy the Christopher Ranch peeled garlic in a 3 lb bag from Smart & Final for making garlic olive oil. After pouring off the oil, I have all this garlic I can't toss. I found this recipe and it makes 3.5 quarts that I share with friends, freezes well and it is fantastic! I also use lime juice instead of lemon.

really easy to make and has a strong garlic flavour. some oil seperation happened after it sat for on the counter

Great, easy recipe!!!
Add oil very slowly. Have made many, many times. But when I accidentally poured oil in to quickly the entire batch was ruined, became a watery mess. Take your time and drizzle in the oil.
