Sorry, but this recipe is not good. I tried to make 4 times and followed the directions so carefully. Each time it was ruined. This is just a watery garlic sauce...not thick and creamy.

Soooo good. I absolutely love garlic sauce (especially on shawarma). Tonight I made homemade chicken shawarma plates, and started by making this sauce, it turned out perfectly! Thickened up perfectly and absolutely delicious flavour. Here’s hoping it saves well!

This is an excellent way to use a lot of garlic! I buy the Christopher Ranch peeled garlic in a 3 lb bag from Smart & Final for making garlic olive oil. After pouring off the oil, I have all this garlic I can't toss. I found this recipe and it makes 3.5 quarts that I share with friends, freezes well and it is fantastic! I also use lime juice instead of lemon.

very easy to do as long as you're patient in adding the oil

Great, easy recipe!!! Add oil very slowly. Have made many, many times. But when I accidentally poured oil in to quickly the entire batch was ruined, became a watery mess. Take your time and drizzle in the oil.

The sauce split even after following the directions and being very careful :(
