They always get raved about by people who try them, so I keep making them. Good thing I have people to share them with, otherwise I'd eat them all...

Too many chocolate chips. Next time I’ll try the regular size and only half of the bag...

This recipe is great. It is easy to keep all these ingredients on hand so that I can make these treats on short notice. I can also easily adapt these to be dairy free and gluten free. Thanks!

Good, metric sizes are 680g of cake mix ( I needed 2 Australian packets of cake mix) and 150g butter

My daughter just made these!! I added about 1/2 tsp to white cake mix... They were a hit! Stirred in M&M's

not sure why someone left a bad review, these are delicious! Even better a few hours later, nice and soft and chewy. Yeah they don't taste exactly like chocolate chip cookies because they aren't! But they are still really good. how is it the recipe's fault you didn't use the size pan you were supposed to? You have to adjust any recipe accordingly.

I used M&sM's and put crushed pretzels on top. Didn't love this though. It's not a traditional tasting cookie, but it is easy to throw together. I also think it's dry and if you attempt to bake in a pan smaller than what is recommended, you really have to watch your oven temp because it doesn't cook evenly.

These bars are so quick and easy to make and they taste good. It's a great recipe to have on hand like for when your son's entire basketball team decides to come over after practice. I have used mini M&Ms instead of the chocate chips!
