- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (fresh, plus extra for serving)
- 1/2 cup parsley leaves (chopped)
- 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. mozzarella cheese (grated, divided)

This was so good! I cut an hour off the cooking time simply because I didn’t need to cook the sauce longer. It thickened really nicely. Since it’s such a large batch, I made it in 3 foil pans that I picked up at the grocery store. Each one serves 6. We ate one for dinner tonight and the other two I put in the freezer for another time. The meatballs and sausage is worth it. I made the meatballs a little spicier with black pepper and red pepper flakes and the sausage was a sweet Italian. I also added about 3 tablespoons of oregano to the sauce. It was very filling and tasty!
