    This recipe was fantastic! I replaced the beef with a combination of turkey and chorizo, as well as added additional spices to taste. Like dried oregano, Italian seasoning, Tony Chacherie’s no salt seasoning blend, not to mention salt & pepper. We will try a vegetarian version with plant based meat and I will update on how that one comes out.

    I substitued the cottage cheese for ricotta and added italian sausage for more flavor. I thought it was a bit bland the first time i made this so we had to make a couple adjustments.

    Soooo freakin good!! Had to rate to make sure this is the only lasagna recipe I use! I just added Italian seasoning to the sauce. Absolutely delicious.

    I made one side with ground beef, and one side with eggplant, and both turned out great. For the egg plant side, I started with some olive oil to sauté the onion mixture, and then added finally chopped eggplant once the onion mixture was soft. Everything else remained the same. Will definitely make again.

    switched out cottage cheese for ricotta and mild Italian sausage. came out amazing. everyone loved it.

    this was so delicious!!
    I love this recipe! I do have ground beef and half sage sausage. Super good!
